BMW has a history in painting some of its most iconic cars ever made in weird and wacky colour schemes: why? Why not? Actually, it's a great way to generate publicity, but it's also nice to see the sponsors' logos junked from race cars and totally bizarre paint jobs applied to the road cars. And all 16 BMW Art Cars have been put together in an exhibition by Britain's Institute for Contemporary Arts. If you're in the UK during the Olympics in the next few weeks, you can see it for yourself: the real-life gallery is open to the public free of charge until the 4th August at the NCP Car Park, 35 Great Eastern Street, London. MSN Cars was there at the unveiling - here's a sneak peak.
